Meet Sammi Jo

SammiJo is approximately 9 months of age. She was owner surrendered to a shelter in Louisiana. Due to high intake at the shelter, she was being kept in a kennel too small for her. Thankfully our rescue partner found her and immediately took her into foster care.

Due to being crammed in her kennel she has some kennel anxiety. Her foster family has been working on this. Her kennel that she uses now is xtra big to give her the space that she needs to move around. She does sleep in her kennel and keeps it dry over night. She is now house-trained.

She is a typical lab and is also very snuggly. She loves getting attention from her people. She knows sit and down. She likes to play ball and play with toys. She has gotten along great with her foster dogs. (Big and small! She had done fine with one cat in the home that doesn't run. They have one cat that likes to run and SammiJo will of course chase her. SammiJo is still young and will need continued work on her training!
