Meet Sami

Sami, joined our Mutt Madd-ness family on 2.26.20. At the time she was 4 pounds and extremely underweight - she is now 5.6 pounds. She is a year and a half old Yorkie-Terrier who apparently was born with spina bifida, her rear legs were severely deformed and one was infected. We have had her rear legs removed and she has been spayed and chipped. This girl is a charmer, sweet, and cuddly. She also has a wild streak and enjoys running around the house on her two front legs - she also enjoys play. She likes the company of other dogs - she perks up and likes to follow them around. We do have a wheelchair for her - but she does amazing on her own. We keep her in preemie human diapers and little newborn onesies and they seem to work - except when she runs so hard they slip off. :) Sami may not be comfortable around small children, that would have to be decided with a visit. If you have a heart for the ones that need you the most - she is a true winner! She has very specific needs that foster mom can best explain to you. Want to meet her - let us know.
