Handsome Sam is a happy-go-lucky 2-year-old 65lb bundle of love who can’t wait to find his forever family. He absolutely loves playing with his toys, chasing balls, and going on walks and gives the best kisses in town. His favorite place is right next to you, his best friend! Sam is great with other dogs and loves meeting new dog friends. He’s house-trained and continues to learn new commands. While he can be exuberant at times, spending time at the dog park or running in the yard helps release his energy. He takes a moment to warm up to new people in the house but then he just wants to play.

Like all rescue pups, his forever family should be prepared to continue his education. Because of his energy and size, he’s best suited for homes with older children. He shows a little too much interest in cats, so no cats please! But Sam would love another canine buddy in his new home.

Sam is heartworm positive but has no symptoms. The rescue covers all of his treatment.
