Dolly Labrador Retriever Mix League City, TX

Hi, I'm Dolly. I was a puppy adopted from SCP (then known as Sam) but when my owner had to move, I was left an an animal shelter. Long story short, I'm now an adult (estimated DOB 7/26/2014 and about 47 pounds) back at SCP and looking for my "real" forever home. It's been really hard for me, loosing my family and then the stress of being in an animal shelter, so my next family must be patient and loving, willing to help me with my anxiety with all the new things in my life. I'm doing much better in my foster home, living with dogs and chickens, and dreaming of a forever family. There are no cats or kids in my foster home so don't know about them. I'm not aggressive, so with the right introductions, I bet I'd be OK with them. I do like to be "top dog", so I may need a home that an existing dog doesn't also think they are "top dog" I'm moderately active - I love both going on walks and being on the couch.

Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home.

The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies) which includes State of Texas sales tax.

Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Since all of our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule.
