BIOGRAPHY:

Meet Sam! It is impossible to not be in a good mood around Sam. He is always happy and smiling and loves everyone he meets. Sam is an 8-Year-old male Chihuahua mix. He loves other dogs small to medium size, larger dogs need to be low energy, and not get in his personal space. He gets along well with his foster family’s Pit-bull mix but will put her in her place if she gets out of line. Sam also loves cats. In his current foster family, he lives with a Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Pit-bull mix, and two cats.

From the first day in his foster home, he acted like he had lived there all his life. He has been on a play date with 3 small dogs and had a blast! He went to a music festival and loved everyone there. Sam is a dog that could adapt to any family and lifestyle, as long as there is lots of love! He takes one tablet of Apoquel for allergies and ½ tablet of Cosequin for arthritis daily. It is important that his weight does not go over 10lbs., and it would be ideal if he actually lost a bit of weight so as not to add any further burden to his arthritis. He will mark in the house and does wear a male dog diaper or belly band. (He will let you put it on him super easy) He is one of the easiest fosters that his foster family has ever cared for and he is an absolute joy to be around!
