Meet Sam
Sam is a stray that was surrendered to Bedford Humane to find just the perfect home for this sweet boy. What I can tell you about him in the short time that I have had him is that he is very sweet, gets along with other dogs, and could be house broken. He spent the night with the people that found him and was good in the house, no accidents, and learned how to use their doggy door to go out, following their dog. He has started his vaccines through Bedford Humane and has been neutered, and finish all the other vaccines he needs, so all he will need is a family. He is a young dog probably 2ish with puppy energy, so maybe not so good with the little ones. I would guess he weighs about 50 pounds, He wants to please and tries, but sometimes he just can’t help himself with the wiggle butt and the Mexican jumping beans. He will be a wonderful loving companion, just give him a chance to wiggle his way into you heart.
Sam is coming out of his shell - he can still be strong on the leash, but is getting better. He likes to get a ball, not so good at bringing it back yet. Hie is learning what treats are and trying to focus. He needs training, but he is so worth it, he is a great dog!
What more can we say about Sam - he is a great dog! He needs some training but he learns quickly and wants to please. He rides great in the car, loves everyone and gets along with other dogs. He was wonderful at CenterFest in Bedford, a perfect gentleman. He is working on being patient but sometimes he just can’t help himself.. it’s so hard to sit still when dinner is waiting!!! He does bark at horses, so no livestock. He seems to get along fine with dog-savvy cats.
Sam has received the Distemper-Parvo combination vaccine and Kennel Cough vaccine and Rabies vaccine.
