Meet Sally Mae
Sally Mae is being fostered after being given up for not being a puppy; she's two-ish. She got passed around a couple of family members' homes before coming into foster care with Gordy and Friends. We do recommend someone with Chow experience because although Sally Mae is VERY loving to all people, chows can be aloof although they look like teddy bears. They also become very attached to their people and if you adopt a chow, you should know about their traits. We don't recommend Sally Mae around cats although we are teaching her to ignore them. She does well with other dogs once she meets them; but having said that, Chows typically prefer being the only dog. This is best for their well being, but it is nice to know that she can meet and interact with other dogs. She LOVES walks, and we are working on leash training. She is doing great with being housebroken, but any dog going into a new home will need some time to adjust. We think an adult only or older children home would be best. Please email kgordonlove@yahoo.com or visit the Gordy and Friends page on Facebook and send us a PM and we’ll get you an application then set up a meet and greet and home visit. Rehoming fee applies
