Hi there, my name is Sally, and I am on the lookout for my forever home!

The first thing you should know about me is that I LOVE toys. The squeakier the toy the better! While I would totally love to play fetch with my humans with one of my toys, I am pretty content tossing my toys up in the air and making them squeak as much as I can on my own. This one time I tossed my toy up in the air and it landed on my human’s work desk. I couldn’t find that gosh darn thing for a minute there, but I couldn’t help but smile the whole time while I searched for it because toys are my favorite!

I’m not really big on that whole cuddling thing but I love being around my humans. When I am my most comfortable, I will let you know by hanging out close enough to get some pets. And please do not be offended when I leave after too many belly rubs, I just got to go check on my squeaky toys!

As my breed would suggest, I love to stay active. Running around in the fenced in yard is super fun for me and I also enjoy walks. I am working on my leash manners right now and will need to continue that so it’s an enjoyable experience for both me and my human. And shared walls are not a match for me as I like to let you know when a delivery person stops by or I hear some rustling outside the window. You're welcome!

Recently, I met a dog-savvy cat and to be honest, I didn’t pay too much mind. I am much more of a people dog, I think. I am currently living with a super calm and tolerant dog, and we had slow intros and co-exist well, but I am going to let you in on a secret… making dog friends is hard for me, and I would really, really like to be the only dog in the home. More attention and toys for me!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
