Meet Saint
Saint was surrendered by his owners when he was no longer able to walk. We immediately stepped in to see why a 7 month old puppy could not walk. Sadly he had an extremely rare tumor called Wilms Tumor and because of an extremely generous donor, we were able to move forward with the life saving surgery he needed. The surgery was a huge success and the tumor has been completely removed. Doctors said he will live a normal, healthy life. He is recovering beautifully and has regained all function in his legs. He is now living the puppy life he was meant to have! He currently has finished his radiation treatment and will need an MRI in 6-8 months and follow up visits with his oncology team every 3 months for the next 2 years, We are now accepting applications and all future treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter. He will be a big boy, over 100lbs. We are not sure what he is mixed with but possibly mastiff, cane corso, doberman and hound? He is a total sweetheart and loves dogs, kids and people! Saint is just that, a Saint.
