This is SAGE. She is around 53 lbs and approx 2 years old. She was spayed, chipped and has ALL her shots..
She is a water dog, this breed is excellent swimmers.
Sage is extremely affectionate and loves to give kisses and get belly rubs. She loves to snuggle. She's friendly and gets along with other dogs. She's very energetic and loves to play, especially with her sister. She likes toys but not obsessed, but she loves a good chew bone. She also LOVES food and can get territorial around her bowl with other dogs.
She's not a barker, only if she hears weird noises outside.
This breed can be great with children but it's recommended not too young, age 8 and over.
She's a typical Mountain Cur. Working dogs who love to hunt, chase, run up trees and require LOTS of exercise. She is obsessed with chasing squirrels or small critters. Inherent to her breed. She also likes to chase anything that moves like bicycles, scooters, skateboarders, etc. But has gotten 95% better with a little training. She has noise aversion and gets jumpy at certain noises.
She still requires some training, she's smart, learns fast, but can be a bit stubborn. But she's a total sweetheart. A love muffin.
Sage absolutely loves rolling around on her back. She loves to roll in dirt and splash around in mud etc. She's she's a very passionate dog with a zest for life.
She's not meant to be cooped up in an apartment unless her family is very active. She gets bored easily and needs exercise.
Hopefully she can be adopted with her sister as they're very close and bonded. They're extremely affectionate with each other. They play constantly, loves tumbling around on the floor and tackling each other. It's hilarious. They give each other kisses and grooms one another all the time. They even like snuggling together. But if the family has another playful dog or able to socialize her with other dogs often she can be adopted separately from her sister.
