Requirements: Requirements: A family with other dogs and without children under 12 with a fully fenced in yard. 
Sage is an absolute gem that is waiting for her happy ending. The loud and unfamiliar rescue environment doesn’t always allow her personality to shine right away, but when she has a little time to warm up to you she will quickly show you what an amazing companion she will be. Her ideal adopters will move at her pace and help build her confidence. Another dog might be exactly what she needs to show her the ropes (pending a successful meet and greet). She loves to play with her toys and enjoys anytime outside. She is up to date on vaccinations and is SO ready to begin the next chapter of her life.  If you’re willing to invest the time to gain her trust, she will reward you with endless love. Please visit the shelter Wednesday 3-7pm or Saturday 10am-2pm to meet her and apply.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

Helpful reminders:
*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
