Meet Sage! This 3-year-old, 50 lb, mixed breed is an absolute sweetheart. We think she may be a pointer/pittie mix but we aren’t sure. Sage was found alone as a stray in a rural area and appeared to have recently had puppies. She’s now rested and recovered, and ready to find a forever home of her own!

Sage is a medium-energy gal who enjoys her daily walks and snuggles but also has a playful spirit and loves to do zoomies in the backyard. She is the biggest cuddle bug and loves being around her people! She can be a little shy at first but she warms up with a bit of encouragement. To help her with her confidence, she is currently in training with Full Circle Canine training. This will be a huge bonus for anyonee who adopts her as she will have her basics down and go home with a great set of skills and guidance to continue to build on. She is extremely smart and has already made so much progress in the week she has been there. She is potty-trained and well-mannered in the house and will do best with someone who is home as she doesn't love to be alone for long periods of time. She is easily excitable by fellow pups and will bark out of curiosity and excitement and has typically done well around other dogs with a proper introduction. She has made tremendous progress since the first day we got her and we imagine she’ll only continue to improve with practice! Sage has a heart of gold and has an endless amount of love to give.
