Meet Sadie and Simba *ADOPTED*

*ADOPTED* Meet Sadie (red colored harness) and Simba (black colored harness). Sadie (8) and Simba (9) came into the rescue after their owners got divorced. They both spent a little more time with their mom but due to very long work hours, she felt that she was unable to give them the time and love they truly deserve. She felt that they needed a full time home with somebody that can spend time playing and loving them, so they are now looking for a new forever home.

Sadie came into the rescue with both a slight ear infection and dry eye. She has been treated for both and now is doing great. She will need her ears cleaned regularly and have a couple of drops of Visine in her eyes a few time a week. She was a little overweight but has been on a diet and is now at a very acceptable weight. She loves to give kisses, play with stuffed toys and sit on the couch and snuggle. She is house and create trained. She has no physical disabilities and can go up and down stairs. She gets along with all dogs, cats, kids and adults.

Simba came into the rescue a little overweight and has a little disability with her rear legs. He has been on a diet and is doing great a taking off the weight. He is now at an acceptable weight. He has been to the vet for an evaluation of his rear legs and they feel that it is probably a slight degenerative issue. He has been treated by a chiropractor and has shown improvement. It is our recommendation that he continue to be treated by a chiropractor as long as improvement continues. He can do just a couple of steps but no stairs. He loves to have attention paid to him and fussed over. He is house and create trained, get along with all dogs, cats, kids and adults.

Sadie and Simba get along great with the other dogs in their foster home. They are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, and heart worm negative. They need to be adopted together, as they have been together for 8 years and take care of each other. They would do best in a home with pug experience. Like any dog being adopted they will need time to adjust to their new home and routine.
