Dutchess Great Dane Mix Conrad, MT

Hi, I'm Dutchess (formerly Sadie, I decided I am royalty so my name had to change of course!), a great dane! I'm not sure on my wt, but probably about 120 to 140 Lbs. I am UTD but not spayed yet.

Boy, where to start? Well, my momma got me when I was about 1 yr old. I had my ribs sticking out, hips sticking out, in fact I thought I was a stick figure and not a dog. It took mom about a year to get me nice and fattened up. Then I started to feel more like a dog, cause she showed me pictures and I looked way different than the people around me, I even have 4 feet instead of 2! There are so many things I can do; I'm crate trained, know basic commands and the hand signals for them, leave it and stay are my least favorite, but when mom asks I do them. I really like to go camping too! I like to play, go for car rides, long walks and cuddle a lot. I will go any where and do anything for my person when I choose them.

I am a bit food aggressive, but get along with other dogs otherwise. I am NOT fond of cats at all and have not been around smalls or tiny dogs. I take a bit of time to warm up to new people, so slow introductions are good.

I really want a place where I can have my own family, even kids. I have been at my foster for almost a year! Its nice but I want my own people! I do prefer kids over 8 or so, I don't want to knock over little ones when I get excited or have them pull my ears or tail.
