Meet Sadie! She is a 4 year old mini Aussie saved from a puppy mill in
Ohio. Sadie is a very sweet dog and incredibly smart! She is fully
house broken. While Sadie gets along well with cats and dogs, she is
definitely more interested in people. She is adjusting well to life
outside of a mill, but is continuing to learn how to live like a
regular dog. Sadie will need to find a home with a fully fenced in
yard. She does not like walking on a leash and often becomes skittish
in new environments or with new people/sounds. Sadie would do best in
a quiet home with a mild mannered companion dog to learn from. It is
recommended that any children be over the age of 12. She loves to
cuddle on the couch and follows her foster mom around everywhere. She
is demonstrating some signs of separation anxiety so she would do best
in a home where her humans are retired or work from home. If you are
looking for a cuddle buddy, can be patient, and have love to give to a
dog that has lived her whole life in a crate, then Sadie is the one
for you!

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally, if fencing is required it must be a physical fence and in place at time of home visit.

All our dogs have been treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption.
