Meet Sadie
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Sadie is looking for her perfect furever home. She's around 2 years old and
40 lbs, a great size, and almost
always an absolute sweetheart.
Sadie's been in rescue for much too long now and is So deserving of a family of her own
.
She can be very insistent on getting attention and will make herself heard, seen, and felt. She will bark for your attention, nudge your hand and playfully nip at your clothing to get it. She is a bit on the needy side but in a very cute and adorable way.
She can't be held back by a gate and has recently discovered that she can fit through the small cat door. What a smart lady she is.
Sadie is house broken and is not a big fan of her crate. Since she is not a puppy, she can free roam when her foster mom isn't around. She loves to
take shoes and slippers and carry them to the couch but won't chew on them. In fact, I am confident she could be trained to "fetch my slippers"
.
She is very submissive with people but shows dominance with other dogs. She loves to play but will do best with a submissive dog. She is protective of high value treats and sometimes even toys, but is great with the puppy in her foster home that loves to pester her nonstop and take her toys away. She has really shown what a caring and protective mom she can be to the puppy.
Sadie is well behaved and does great in the car. She is always eager for walks and does best with an Easy Walk harness. She would be amazing with agility classes. Sadie can easily jump up onto a 5-foot wall when she goes for walks and gets really excited when she sees squirrels. She will sit and stare up a tree for the longest time when she knows there is a squirrel present.
Sadie knows sit, shake and wait, and is a great listener. She's very smart and eager to learn and will be very easy to train.
Overall Sadie just loves to be around people and soaks up all the attention, petting, and fondness by humans in her life.
Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX
, flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Adoption fee: $450.00
