- We are an all volunteer rescue, all dogs live in foster homes with their foster parent(s).
Hi I'm Sadie. I'm a 2 year old, 40lb Husky/Heeler mix who was recently returned to the rescue due to family allergies. I've live with kids, cats, and dogs and I get along with everyone. Your cat must be dog savvy and like dogs because I will want to be it's friend. I can be a little energetic in my play style but will back down if others don't like it. I am housebroken and crate trained, and do pretty well on a leash. I don't have too much in the way of obedience, but I know the basics and that's a great start. I do have a prey drive and feel an intense need to protect my yard from bunnies and squirrels. For that reason a 6 foot fence is required because anything shorter I can vault over. If you are interested in a ready to go, excellent family dog I might be the girl for you.
