Meet Sadie
Sadie
Sadie is a six-year-old Chihuahua mix who came to QAS as an owner surrender along with her housemate, Tessa. Initially Sadie and Tessa were scared and shut down, but Sadie was the first to come out of her shell and show her fun personality. Sadie is sweet and cuddly but also barky and demanding and can be nippy, so an adult home would be best. Because of her barking, she may not be best for an apartment or condo setting. She came to QAS with limited training and structure, and so any new home will need to continue training, e.g., continued potty training (she understands it and will need continued training; we can give you pointers on that). Tessa just went to her new home, and now it is Sadie’s turn! Sadie likes other dogs and all people. She is smart, food motivated and will be a quick study for her lucky new family.
