You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to area residents.

Sadie is a Rat terrier / chi mix (best guess) born 12/10/18 who weighs in at 12 lbs. Her vet work is now complete so she is ready to go to a home all her own. She was a stray found in Texas and was brought to Rochester to look for a family to call her own. She has been living with a foster family and loves getting attention and cuddles. She is an energetic dog and wants to play with dogs she meets, but does want to be in charge so would require an easygoing playmate. She always wags her tail and gives out kisses when she sees her people. She loves to play with toys or chew bones. She is mostly housebroken and loves to explore outside even in the snow and chases wild animals. Looking for an experienced family to handle this strong-willed girl and a fenced-in yard for her to explore is favored. Sadie also does not like being disturbed when sleeping (will give warning nip) so older respectful children only. She doesn’t mind being an only dog who can get all the attention and love, cats are unknown. All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
