Meet Sabot

Hello, my name is Sabot. I'm an outgoing 2 year old Shepard mix with TONS of energy. I love going on walks and am good on a leash. I also love running circles in the backyard, which I hope my next home has. I'm good with people but may try and jump to greet you if it's our first time meeting; don't let that scare you away, I'm a sweet guy. I'm okay with other dogs, although if they aren't willing to play with me I can irritate them sometimes with all my energy. I wouldn't mind a friend to play with at my furever home but also wouldnt mind being the only dog so that I can get all the attention. My foster says that I listen fairly well and seem to be doing better as I've settled in the past few days. I'm house trained and behave well although I can get a little nosey and wonder sometimes. I do good in a kennel and stay quiet too. Apply at Purple-Paws.org. The adoption fee is $200- this helps cover vaccinations, preventatives, and spay/neuters.

FOSTER UPDATE 8-15-19:
Are you looking for a running accountability partner? Hiking companion? Yoga buddy? Extra member of your high jump team? ? Sabot is an athletic and energetic guy who would love to join you on all of your adventures, whatever they may be! Bonus: he is absolutely striking with his unique appearance and also super well-behaved. He has got it all!
Sabot is about two years old, approximately 50 lbs and believed to be a hound/shepherd mix. He is house trained, crate trained, awesome on a leash, does not jump fences or attempt to run away, has not chewed on anything he is not supposed to, knows a few basic commands, and gets along well with other dogs and children. He has been known to chase cats and chickens, though. While he is an active dog and will need daily walks or play-sessions in the yard, he also loves to chill with his foster family when the time is right.
Sabot is neutered, up to date on shots and heartworm negative. If you’d like to add this lover-of-life and adventure-seeker to your family, apply at www.purple-paws.org. The adoption fee is $200.
