Meet SABINE
***NO CHILDREN UNDER 7, NO COUPLES LOOKING TO START FAMILIES & NO ROOMMATES. ONLY AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION IN NYC.***
SABINE is a petite and delicious little boxer mix who weighs 33 pounds. She came into our rescue after being found in Northern Manhattan roaming around with no leash or collar. Police made her a makeshift leash and collar out of plastic bags and brought her into the shelter we partner with.
Sabine is adjusting well to life outside the shelter in her foster home. She is estimated to be about 2 years old and appears to be housebroken. Sabine is by all accounts dog friendly but also assertive when she plays. She also can also just chill and Netflix with you!
She has spent the day with children ages 7-10 and loved them but because she likes to jump up and hug people we would not place her in a home with kids younger than 7. We are also not keen on adopting to couples looking to start a family in the near future. Sabine is so friendly and sweet and if you let her, she will even give you a hug!
