Looking for a playful and gentle fur friend?! Meet Saber; a sweet 10-month-old girl on the lookout for her forever home!
Saber adores people, loves other dogs and is great with kids! She has a sweet and docile demeanor with kids and is a great reader of the signs other dogs give her. Saber has had the chance to meet low-key and energetic dogs and while she loves playing with her playful canine friends, she understands and is respectful if they are not all about it.
Saber spent her early months as a stray and so she wasn’t not given the opportunity to learn things as other puppies might so, she is still discovering things like how to walk on a leash. But that doesn’t stop her from being a champion at house-training – not one accident!
A relatively easy-going pup who enjoys all things attention and love. But, she also content roaming about all by herself. Saber has been taking in all the benefits of a fenced-in yard like being able to run and play with other dogs, sniffing all the good scents and relaxing in a spot of sunshine, despite the return of winter in the middle of spring!
Saber is always ready to meet new people with a thoughtful and cautious interest. She also enjoys playing and chewing on toys. Saber is also a super star for her kennel; right now, she eats and sleeps in there without a problem.
Saber would love a home with another canine friend to play with, opportunities for daily walks, attention and love showered her way and an active home that will include her in many adventures!
**Saber is Lyme + and has begun treatment. She will need a checkup mid-May. She is also recovering from Demodex – a type of non-contagious mange – and her fur is growing back nicely**
Her adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, & Bordetella), HW and flea/tick preventative, and microchip implant and registration.
Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.
Due to post-adoption services provided, it is Pet Haven's policy to only place dogs into homes within a 75-mile radius of the Minneapolis, MN city center.
