RYLEY Schnauzer & Poodle Mix New York, NY

RYLEY was abandoned in a box and left in the stairwell of a building in upper Manhattan. She then found herself scared and alone at an overcrowded kill shelter, and that's when we stepped in. We pulled Ryley out of the shelter and now she's in a living foster home in Brooklyn.

At an estimated 9 years of age and 7 pounds small, Ryley is petite and perfect! Ryley is not 100% housebroken, preferring to go to the bathroom indoors on wee wee pads. Ryley loves to cuddle with people and is great with other dogs and cats. She is not big on exercise and therefore does not require long walks.

Ryley prefers to sleep in the bed with her foster parents or in a dog bed near the bed. She would be a great apartment dog as Ryley is not a big barker and she's small enough to take everywhere!

When we rescued Ryley her mouth was a sewer and she had a fatty cyst. She recently had a dental at our vet and had the lipoma removed. So we're looking for someone who understands the needs of a senior dog.

Please no crates and no roommates!
