Rye American Staffordshire Terrier Mix Greensboro , NC

I spy with my little eye...it's me! I'm RYE! And I am so happy to have been found and given a chance at a real home.

I am approximately a year and a half young, neutered, and UTD on all my shots. I do well with men and women after a moment to sniff you out. I have a lot of learning to do and trust to build, but my foster parent will vouch for how loving I am.

Once I am comfortable, I love attention and am very playful. I am picky with the dogs I like and need appropriate introductions to get comfortable enough to trust them, but I am currently living with 3 other dogs and am doing well. I am house-trained and crate-trained and I am comfortable staying in the crate when my foster parent is at work with no issues.

I love to work on my bones and chew toys and I love my walks and getting to explore. I am still trying to learn to walk calmly. (If I spy a squirrel on a walk, I can't help but pull to chase it! I'm just trying to protect you from those evil squirrels.) I've never been around cats, but considering my high prey-drive around squirrels, I might end up chasing them around. I heard they scheme more than squirrels.
