Meet Ryder

Ryder is a work in wonderful progress! He’s a fast learner, and he loves school (training). He loves to be worked with and taught new things. Ever have one of those kids who just loves to go to school? That’s Ryder. He loves it so much that we have to work on his manners for when he’s not in school! ? He’s been an absolute joy to foster and he’s got a great sense of humor. He really knows how to get your attention when he wants it!

Here’s some details about this cool pup:

~He completed training with primal canine

~ He loves to be inside with you but he can also be a good boy when left outside. He hasn’t jumped on the door or barked to be let back in once. He has the potential to potty inside but a doggy door or keeping an eye on time between potty breaks will continue to train him for outside only potty

~ He’s good on leash and we’re working to be even better each time we go out. He is reactive when he sees other dogs but we’re working on that. His reactivity to dogs has diminished drastically already. He loves going on walks though! ?

~ He’s a clown, he will play rough but never to cause harm. We’re working on his down time... ?

~ He used to be scared of getting in the car but now he hops right in and loves going on car rides. I do buckle him with a leash tie so he doesn’t strand on the center console constantly (he wants to help drive lol) and the window down enough for his nose to pop out is his favorite ?

~ He seems to be between 1-2 years old but he acts like a puppy. And a clown. This boy is obsessed with his reflection lol He’ll stare at himself in my mirror - for a long time. His personality cracks me up! ?

~ He does need to be the only pet in the home and, since he doesn’t know his own strength, we prefer he’s in a home without kids under 14

~ no cats

~ we’re still working dog reactivity
