Meet Rya
pet id 50588133
** Rya is in foster care. Please contact her foster home for more information: cmadams5190@gmail.com**
Meet Rya! This young girl is beauty and brains. She’s one smart cookie and eager to please. She is a very soft, gentle dog.
She is so quiet and doesn’t bark much at all. She is a little vocal when she is playing; but that’s about it.
Rya is athletic, she would do great in a home that loves hiking or any type of activities that will keep her moving.
We sometimes call her Rya Roo because this girl can jump high. She would excel in agility!
Rya has done fantastic with any big dog she has met. She will match their play style but will also respect their boundaries. She also lives peacefully with the cats in her foster home. But she’s confused as to why they won’t play tug with her- which is one of her favorite games.
She is a little shadow when it comes to her human and wants to be wherever her humans are. If you’re looking for a cuddly dog, she’s definitely it.
She seems to really love children and gets excited every time she sees one. She did very well meeting young children at a recent adoption event. With that said,
loud talking/yelling (like at a football game) seems to make her uncomfortable and she gets nervous. So she may do best in a quieter home if there are no children present.
She is house trained. We are working on crate training. She is slowly getting better by the day and is now going in there on her own with only a treat to coax her. If you asked her what her key to success is, it would absolutely be Pupperoni.
