Meet handsome Rusty! He is an amazing boy, who has already passed the Basic Obedience & Canine Good Citizen tests! He was apart of the Prison Paws Partnership program, and is now ready for a home! He has had a DNA test, and he is 50% German Shepherd, 38% Pitbull, and 12% Am Staff. Rusty is currently fostered in Washougal, WA and he would love to meet you! He is estimated to be 2 years old. Rusty loves other dogs, and his been fostered with several. He does great with them! He loves to play chase with his dog friends.
Rusty is a very handsome boy who loves everyone. He's very playful and energetic at times, but he is also the biggest snuggle bug! He's very smart and has picked up on his training very quickly. He would do great with a family who can be consistent with his boundaries and continue the amazing training that he already has.
Every person who meets Rusty adores him, including kids! Rusty has been around cats before, and is too interested in them to live with them. His favorite play activity is fetch. He will chase a ball for as long as you are willing to throw it for him! Rusty’s favorite is rubber balls, but he also enjoys a good chew on a Nylabone. Does Rusty sound like the boy for you?
