Judge: You, Rusty, the 2 year old, 74 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback/ lab mix are hereby sentenced to 6-12 weeks at Pups for Parole. While at Pups for Parole, you will be loved, get loads of attention, discipline and training. I know that you are a smart boy, and you will likely be successful in your rehabilitation! Rusty: Thank you Judge! Dog gone it, I want to be a great dog, and now I finally have the chance to show the world what I can do. You see, I have had a traumatic past, and I was not trained or cared for as a pup. I am grateful that I will now have the chance to learn all the skills I need and show that I can be an awesome family dog. You just wait and see!

"Rusty is doing fantastic! He knows all his basic commands, does speak, roll over and play dead as well as target touches. He loves to use his nose and will probably do wonderful. He has been coming to the crowded, noisy gym every day this week to accustom him to crowds, noise, and lots of movement. He is starting to relax more each day. "

Rusty: Proudly, I am now a graduate of the Pups for Parole training program. I can "sit" "lay down", "sit pretty" "speak", "speak quietly", "kennel" and I walk well on a leash. I want a family who will incorporate me in every activity they have going on. I have lots of energy, and I LOVE to play! My forever home needs a fenced yard so I can run and play. I get along well with other dogs, so another dog close to my size to play with would be great too. I would do well with older kids, but might knock little ones over without meaning to! Sadly, I do not get along with cats.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
