Rusty is a nice boy who is looking for a great forever home!

Rusty was found as a stray, taken to an open intake shelter, and not reclaimed by his owner. He is a nice boy, but he can be very skiddish at first. It took him a few weeks to get used to his foster family. He is totally housebroken and neutered. He is a pretty independent dog who is great with other dogs, and mostly likes to relax and walk around the yard. He also does great on a leash and loves to go on walks. He is about 22 lbs and we think about 12 years old or perhaps older. He had an exam and bloodwork done and everything seems good for a dog his age. He just had a dental done also, and had a few extractions. He will need a forever family who will be able to afford any few medical needs he may have (future dentals, etc) and has he compassion to open their hearts to a sweet soul.
