Rusty $100 toward his fee sponsored's Story

Meet Rusty. He is about 7 yrs now with an estimated birthday of 4/7/2017. He came into Lifehouse back in April. He had been dumped in the woods and had been living their for a few weeks before another rescue was able to catch him. He was absolutely pitful. He was extremely emaciated (40 pounds), bad demodectic mange, ear infections, blisters on his skin and paws. He went to a wonderful foster in Hendersonville and was nursed back to help with love, care, nutrition and months of vet care and treatment for his mange. His chest was hairless. A picture included of how bad his chest was. We think he was abused by his previous owners, He has come so far. The foster was going to adopt but he is nervous around her toddler and other child who are both under 6. We think he would be best in a home with kids 12 and up. He is wonderful with all bigger people and doesn't meet a stranger. He came to one of our events in late September and did fabulous with the other dogs and puppies there. We were so proud of him and not one growl. So he could be with another dog. Want you consider giving this sweet boy a forever home that he so deserves?(possible bait dog) as his canine teeth are clipped and there are scars on his face and body. His past could be why he has some anxiety.

Rusty has been neuterred, microchipped, all vaccines and is heartworm negative. He is on flea and heartworm prevention. His fee of $350 covers all his basic medical expenses.

Please start the process by completing an application at www.lifehouse.petfinder.com and click on the link to the online application. You can text Holly at 615-310-5996 if you have further questions but we do need the app to start a meet and greet.
