Russo Mixed Breed Denver, CO

Hey! My name is Russo and I am a 2 year old lovebug. The staff likes to say my breed is "Cute", but I am most likely a cross between a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog and some sort of a shepherd. Nonetheless, I am pretty freakin' cute! I was transferred to MaxFund from a shelter in Texas and I'm looking for my forever home!

I am a fun young man looking to get the most out of life. I really love people and am so excited to find my human. I'm also pretty adventurous and I love the outdoors. Not trying to toot my own horn, but I would make a fantastic hiking buddy. The best part is that I'd get to come home with you after the hike and snuggle the night away. Watch out- I'm a kisser! Unfortunately, I do not get along with other dogs at all, so I'd have to be the only fur baby in the home. That's ok by me- more belly rubs comin' my way!

How our adoption process works:
1. You MUST come into the shelter to meet a dog you are interested in (and meet a few others, while you’re at it!)

Our hours are 10-5 Mon, Wed, Thu Fri / 11-5 Saturday / 12-5 Sunday
We suggest you call ahead to be sure the dog(s) do not have pending applications
2. You will fill out your adoption application, including references, after finding a dog you’d like to adopt
3. The application review and reference checks will take up to 3-5 business days; you will not be able to bring a dog home same-day
We only take 2 applications per dog, before they are unavailable. This is why we suggest you call ahead to check the status of the pup!

We do not adopt out-of-state.
