Runner PUPDATE! Rough Collie & Border Collie Mix Madras, OR

PUPDATE!
One of kennel techs has been taking him home on a regular basis and exposing him to all kinds of new things! He is great with cats, other dogs, small and large. Ignores chickens. Has been around goats, a horse, a llama, rabbits. He sniffs them then ignores them. Even walks thro the free range chickens who are flapping around and running and no reaction what so ever. Is scared of the cows though. He is a great dog and would love to be someone's one dog.
LOVES water. Loves going for a ride in the car. He would prefer to sit in the front seat though! Has went to the lake a few times when it was warm and loves it. Was also taken to a huge gathering at a bonfire and did amazing!! He just wants to be around his people.

Runner was found as a stray and was very shy and flighty during his first few weeks here. He jumped the fence and bolted. But he returned soon after. He was fear driven. He has come a long way! He's a very good boy and just wants to be around people and loved on. As long as you keep him entertained and fenced, he'll be an angel!
He is shy at first but he warms up pretty fast. He is a very sweet boy who loves to be loved on. He is very smart and a fast learner. Young dog with lots of love to give. Not a big fan of playing with toys but sit down and let him lay on your lap and he will be your best friend! He is perfect on a leash, as you can tell in the pics, he walks well on a loose lead.
You can always tell when he is happy when his tounge is hanging out of his mouth. Not sure but I think he thinks he related to Gene Simmons. Never know!
He needs someone to spend the time to get to know him and give him a chance. He is very nervous to new situations but he has been taken out to different environments recently. He has anxiety and he is on meds for it to help control it. We think with time and patience he will get better and better! And has discovered he LOVES water! That is definitely the retriever in him! He also now enjoys car rides!
Was tested around cats and he did amazing. He just sniffs them and could care less.
