Meet Rumi
Rumi was found wandering the streets with an injury after being hit by a car in February of this year. After visiting a local veterinarian, an x-ray revealed that Rumi's back leg was broken. After a few months in the animal shelter, the pet was scheduled to receive an amputation; however, another vet proposed and successfully repaired the leg. Rumi now walks, runs and plays without any problems or limps from her previously injured leg. She loves her toys and to be outdoors UNLESS it is time to eat!
This sweet four year old adores humans and her canine friends; and, she loves to greet the kennel attendants daily. She is happiest when she's eating but we are carefully watching her weight to insure her leg strengthens even more. We do recommend a home without cats.
