Meet Ruger

Ruger is a goofy and lovable dog. He’s 4 years old on June 1st, is neutered and up to date on shots. He gets along great with other dogs and cats, though sometimes he can aggravate them by how interested in them he is. He loves running the yard and playing fetch. He will follow you around all day and loves being close and cuddling. He is a very sweet dog that always wants to be around his person, often leaning on them to feel even closer. He has a permanent injury to his right hind leg/hip from getting hit by a car when he was a puppy. The injury causes a permanent limp and requires a daily supplement of Cosequin and pain medication as needed. Because of this injury, it is recommended that his home has only older children that understand his leg is sensitive and can cause him to react if hurt.
