Ruger is a handsome Great Pyrenees. He came to us from a home. He has been around children and other dogs. But we think he would do best in a kid free and dog free home. He does not do well with cats. He would do best with someone who is around most of the time. He is a sweetheart that just wants to be snuggled up next to his human. Any one interested in him will need to make multiple visits with him to make friends. He requires a securely fenced yard connected to an exit door of the home, fence must be at least 4 feet high, no invisible fences.

Ruger is 9 years old. His current weight is 80 pounds.

The minimum donation for Ruger is $450.00. This includes all of his vetting. If you are interested in Ruger, please fill out an online application through our website.

Then meet him at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, home visits are done prior to adoption, and you must be within reasonable distance for that to be accomplished.
