Meet Rue - A Loyal, Loving Adventure Buddy in Search of Her Forever Home
Rue is an 8-year-old purebred sable Border Collie with a heart full of love and a classic herding spirit. She's been a deeply cherished companion and is now looking for her next great adventure with someone who can match her energy, loyalty, and need for connection.

Affectionate and loyal with the people she trusts
Loves playtime - especially with other dogs, water hoses, and outdoor fun
Highly intelligent and eager to please, with good recall in calm settings
House-trained, spayed, and up to date on all vaccinations
Car-friendly (especially when heading to the dog park!)
Great with confident, well-mannered dogs - especially larger ones
Gentle with puppies, though she can be a bit bossy during play
Rue's Ideal Home:
A home with a large, securely fenced yard (6' privacy or cattle fencing recommended)
An active person or couple who hikes, runs, or enjoys outdoor adventures
No young children - homes with kids 13+ only, due to her herding instincts
A home that understands Border Collie needs and appreciates her working-dog mindset

Rue doesn't love crates or baths, but she cooperates like a champ
She's an incredible jumper, so chain-link or low fences won't do
Barks at activity outside her boundaries, so secure fencing is a must
