Meet Rudy(Paws in Prison Participant)
Rudy, 2 years, Lab mix, male, 68 lbs. $250 adoption fee
You’d never be able to tell by Rudy’s infectious smile, but his life hasn’t always been so happy. Rudy was abandoned by his owners. They moved away and left him behind like a pile of garbage. A kindhearted neighbor took Rudy in, but her dog was mean to him, so Rudy ended up in our program. His past has left him a bit cautious of people at first, but he warms up quickly. Rudy loves attention, belly rubs, and snuggling on the bed. He is quick to learn and anxious to please. He doesn’t really have a nice opinion of cats, but he doesn’t chase them either. If you’re interested in giving this sweet boy with the million dollar smile the loving home he’s always deserved, please contact Last Chance Arkansas.
WANT TO MEET RUDY? SCROLL TO “MORE ABOUT US,”, TO The APPLICATION. THANKS!
Current on all vaccinations, heartworm negative on monthly preventative, microchipped
Rudy is in the Paws in Prison program where dogs receive obedience training. This dog is expected to graduate from Paws in Prison on June 26. The dogs in this program are trained under the AKC Canine Good Citizen standards and are specifically selected to be family and companion dogs. They spend 24 hours a day with their trainers. For that reason, they will do best in homes where they are primarily inside dogs and spend lots of time with their families. The adoptive family will receive their training journal. This journal documents everything from entering the facility, daily training progress, and interactions with trainers.
