Meet Rudy
Rudy found himself at a local shelter after being attacked by another dog. His jaw was severely broken and his face fractured…but that does not dampen his personality at all! This boy is the sweetest, happiest little puppy! He did lose part of this bottom jaw from the injury, but you would never know that by looking at him. He eats soft food, mainly because it’s easier for him, but he still loves treats like any other dog.
Rudy is in a foster home with other dogs and a couple of cats and does well with everyone. Rudy is an awesome companion that will do well in a home as the only dog, or even with playmates. He is pretty small so he isn’t overbearing for other dogs. Rudy is working on potty training and does extremely well in a kennel. Rudy hasn’t been around children, but his foster mom believes he would do fine with children of any age – as long as his owner understands that sometimes puppies need a little guidance on not being too rambunctious with super young children.
Rudy is looking for a family that will make him a true member of the family. He will do best in a home where he gets to hang out with his humans and in a home with owners that will exercise him and spend time with him. Rudy is pretty easy going for such a young puppy and enjoys playing and taking a hard puppy nap!
