Ruckus Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Heeler Belfast, PA

Ruckus is an approx. 8 month old blue mottled Heeler. He is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives. He is neutered.

Just like his name implies, Ruckus is a wild boy. He is an adult sized puppy. He didn’t have any house manners when he came to us, but over the last few weeks we have been working on basic obedience training. Ruckus is sweet as pie, he loves to cuddle and play and go on hikes. Ruckus loves all people and dogs, but can be quite overbearing to some dogs with his play style, so a home with older dogs would not be a good fit for him. NO cats, as he will chase them relentlessly. Ruckus is crate trained, house broken, walks well on leash, and is food and toy motivated. Ruckus is a very energetic dog that requires a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. Despite his mature appearance, Ruckus is a young dog and he WILL chew, bite and eat inappropriate things. His potential adopters should be prepared to continue his training so that he can thrive in his new home.
