Ruby has been through a lot and needs someone she trusts who is with her consistently. She did not strike me as a depressed dog, but a dog with no purpose. Physically, she is a beautiful Rottweiler. She appears confident and laid back when not being approached.

Ruby was very close to her owners boyfriend and became stressed when they broke up. She later lost her Best Dog Pal to bone cancer. More aggression started showing when her two new Rottweiler puppies came into the home.

When evaluated, Ruby did not seem like she belonged anywhere-this is her home, yes, but this is not where she thrives. She will be successful in a low-key environment where she can have structure, consistent walks and training. She seems like there is a great dog in there waiting to be coaxed out.

Ruby is dog selective, she has shown that she can create lasting bonds with other dogs, just not the two litter mates that were recently brought into the home.

This girl just needs a confident and loving Rottie-savvy person to allow her to properly decompress and then show her what the good life can be all about!
