Ruby's Story

Sweet Ruby ❤️

Ruby came to us after giving birth to her babies in a rural shelter. By rural, we mean no AC, a few kennels pieced together and very limited resources. (First two pics taken in shelter)

Ruby is an older gal, who has sadly had many litters of puppies. Likely a stray, surviving on the streets, being bred heat cycle after heat cycle.

She is an older girl, who shows her age by appearance and rough life— worn down teeth, not the best hair coat and a little age but the biggest heart. She doesn’t let her rough life get her down. She is simply happy to be alive and happy life is finally starting to look up!

Ruby will be weaning her pups in the next week or so and be in search for her forever home. After all she’s been through, she deserves the best ❤️ She’s great with other dogs and all people.

If you think you may it, apply online at https://www.southernstatesbullyrescue.org/blank
