Ruby (Adoption Ambassador)

Hi, I'm Ruby! I am very special and I am looking for a very special family. I had some experiences when I was a developing young puppy that made me fearful, so it takes me a little while to get comfortable with new people to learn that I am safe. I need a home that will give me space to come around on my own time and not push me to do things too soon that scare me. I like my humans but I will probably always prefer the company of dogs. It will be an incredibly rewarding experience for my new family when I open up and bond with them because it will feel like they really earned my love and trust! I LOVE other dogs, am kitty cat friendly, and love to play and go on walks- it's my favorite thing to do! I am also very well crate trained and house trained. I go in the crate all by myself! I need to be adopted into a home with another dog so that I feel safe and have a friend to show me the ropes.
