Ruby is an approximately 3 year old pit bull mix who came to the shelter as a stray and was never claimed.
She was pretty shell shocked on first arrival, with all the loud dogs and scary noises, so she hid in the back of her kennel. With the love and dedication of our volunteers, Ruby learned the shelter wasn't such a scary place.

This brindle beauty has a very quiet and gentle spirit. She loves to cuddle and is easy to walk on a leash.

This pretty pittie can be a little bossy with other dogs during playgroups, so she might be best with a laid back and relaxed dog, or as an only dog to soak up all the love.

She’s sponsored with a reduced adoption fee and funds towards training with her new family by the Buffalo Barkery.

Because of the COVID19 situation, the shelter is closed to the general public. If you would like to meet any of the adoptable dogs, please fill out an application online (if you are not already pre-approved) , call the shelter, and leave a message with your name and phone number and the dog you're interested in. Have patience, and they will call you back when they can. From there, a time will be scheduled for you to come and meet the dog. Please be patient, and remember they are very short staffed at the moment.
