She has been seen by many individuals and many have tried to help her but she wouldn't let anyone close to her. Ruby has been a mother many times and some of her puppies have been rescued. After one of her litter of pups died and our rescue efforts turned to traping her. After several days, she was caught and the process of vetting and building trust began.
Although she didn't trust us, she never showed her teeth or growled. Check out her video to see her personality. She does enjoy playing now, something that took several months. She is still very shy but has gotten more comfortable with people. She has been in the shelter over two years!Looking for a super special home for this girl. With a one on one situation, we believe that she will build the trust she needs to be a companion. She does well with other dogs, so a home with another dog might help her adjust as well.
