Ruby Chihuahua Winchendon, MA

Hello! My name is Ruby, and I'm a 7-year-young black and white chihuahua with beautiful gold coloring around my eyes. Unfortunately, my previous owner became ill and couldn't care for me anymore. It was very sad for both of us, but now I'm looking for a new forever family who will give me lots of kisses and hugs.

My foster mom loves taking care of me because she says I'm a sweet, gentle soul who loves affection. I'm a little shy at first but then will soak up all your love! Cuddling is one of my favorite things, and I don't discriminate -- laps, chest, neck, etc., are all great cuddle spots!

I would be fine in a home with other dogs or cats, since I get along with the five dogs and cat in my current foster home. Also, I tolerate my crate when I am alone, but when you're home, I'd much rather cuddle with you.

I was told I do need to lose some weight (I currently weigh in at 10 pounds), and I would do best with a family who is experienced with small dogs who could get underfoot.

Ruby is being fostered in Winchendon, MA and is spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.
