Oakland is a happy 4 yo boy who enjoys people. He can match the energy level of an active family. He is ready to go hiking and to watch kids soccer matches. When Oakland wants to show off, he will jump like a kangaroo. He is cat tolerant.

All of our greyhounds are fully vetted meaning they have had full dentals, spayed/neutered, up to date on all shots and wormed with Drontal Plus before adoption. All hounds are cat and small dog tested as well. Our adoption package includes a martingale collar and leash, track muzzle, vet paperwork, toy, rawhide chew, your first months heartworm medication and tons of valuable information.

We require all adopters to read either "Adopting the Racing Greyhound" by Cynthia Branigan or "Retired Racing Greyhounds for Dummies" by Lee Livengood.

We only adopt to families in the Central Virginia area including the Richmond Metro Area, west to the Charlottesville area, east to the Williamsburg/Newport News area, and south of the Fredericksburg area.
