Meet Roxy

Roxy is a gorgeous girl who came to the sanctuary after her owner wasn't in a position to care for Roxy herself. She made herself queen here and is an absolute joy! She came to us full of pent up energy but we taught her proper leash manners and walks have become a highlight of her day. She has a big girl bark for our Amazon guy, but gets full on body wiggles for all of us caretakers and volunteers who love her. She LOVES kids and is great with men and women alike. We haven't temperament tested her with cats, but think she may have a prey drive because she would love to chase bunnies given the chance. We are going to get her teeth cleaned so she has a fresh start for her adopters. Roxy is on medication for some hip arthritis, which has her so comfortable she gets zoomies like a puppy. Roxy is an absolute joy to be around, she has a nice mix of energy and cuddle bug.
