Roxie's Story

Roxie is the most amazing and sweetest girl! She will make a terrific, loyal, and loving pet for some lucky person or family. She absolutely loves to be near people, and you can see her face light up when she gets even just a little love and attention. Although she enjoys her walks and would like daily playtime, Roxie seems to be past her rowdy teenage years and likes to spend a lot of her time lounging around and relaxing in her kennel.

Roxie is a super smart girl too - she walks very well on a leash, and she already knows "sit", "shake", and "down". Wow! Roxie has had some training, but when you visit Roxie remember that she's been at the shelter for a very, very long time so she would love at least 15 minutes of walking around to explore the outdoors first, before showing off all of her tricks, leash manners, and her attentive, affectionate personality. Please be patient with her - she's definitely worth it and will absolutely amaze you!

As if that is not wonderful enough, Roxie has a gorgeous coat and awesome white markings. She is about 4 years old and 70 pounds. Roxie has been resting very quietly in her kennel at the shelter since November 17, 2010, and is eager to find her very own forever home soon. Plus, wonderful Roxie's adoption fee has been reduced to just $25. Visit the shelter today and remember to ask for Roxie!
