Hi! I'm Roxie! I am a sweet, loving young girl. I like being outside and I walk well on a leash but I also learn my surroundings and love roaming free in the yard, checking everything out. I can find out a lot of things by using my nose and ears. I recall when you say my name, and since I don't like to be too far from you, I'm easy to keep track of! I don't really play with toys outside, but I do like to have stuffed animals and chews when I'm inside. And I like going on car rides!
My best talent is being a companion and sharing all my love with whomever is around. I am very gentle and love being touched. I will curl up by your feet and snooze happily while you're reading or watching TV. You don't have to worry about me getting on the furniture all the time because I need help, so unless you want to invite me, I will stay on my bed or on the carpet. I'm currently on thyroid medication and can be a little anxious just because everything is so new. However, I'm learning that people can be so nice and that I can trust them! If you would like a very sweet companion to just go on strolls and become your best friend, I'm volunteering!
From foster Mom - Roxie is really coming out of her shell and is a wonderful girl. She is a little shy at first and still unsure of her surroundings but is generally quite calm and loving and just wants to be wherever you are. She needs to have her family around to help her figure her surroundings out and help her feel secure for a while. Her vision is currently impaired, but will hopefully be improving soon. Roxie is scheduled for cataract surgery in Vancouver, WA so she is looking for a foster to adopt home near there! If she sounds like your girl - please fill out an application today.
