Meet Rosita Martinez

Fostered in Hillsboro, OR and ready for meet and greets!

If youre looking for the perfect companion for your kids, youve found the right girl! I LOVE kids! I love to run and play with them in the yard and through the house. I live with a 3yo and a 13yo and dont mind when they get loud and crazy. I just want to cover them in kisses and make them laugh. If you dont have kids, thats okay too. I also love my foster mom and greet her with the biggest wiggle butt, and follow her everywhere she goes.

My name is Rosita, and like a rose, Im very beautiful. I just turned a year old and people say Im a lab and pittie mix, but nobody knows for sure. What I do know is that Im on the smaller side at about 45 lbs, and Im cute as a button with my black and white coloring. My black coat is shiny and smooth, and I have cute little floppy ears. My eyes are a stunning amber and brown.

Ive passed my cat test, so I could probably live with a kitty-sibling, and I could also have a doggy sibling if we have slow intros. I am excellent riding in the car and will just lay down quietly while you drive. Potty training and crate training are in the bag. I dont even cry in my crate and I actually go there on my own when I want to. I prefer bones over toys, and I love yummy treats which will help me train easier.

Im pretty shy and timid when I meet new people and will need some time to warm up. My new family will need to be patient with me as I get used to them and my new surroundings. Once I trust you, I will smother you in kisses and never want to leave your side. Im very loyal and devoted to my humans, and Im always very sweet to them. Im still pretty young, so my ideal family will continue my socialization, training, and show me that Im a valued member of the family. If I seem like a girl you can fall in love with, click that apply button! I cant wait to meet you!

The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is one of the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone! Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary!

Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be brought into our rescue program. Together, we can be heroes.
